Help us support the Banks Backpack Program for students.

Banks is a wonderful community that sits at one end of the Salmonberry Trail. Unfortunately, its local mill recently closed, and this small community experienced the loss of over 50 jobs. The Salmonberry Trail Foundation is collecting non-perishable snacks for the local elementary school backpack program. This program provides backpack snacks and meals for children experiencing food insecurity. You can help by bringing a few non-perishable items with you and we’ll get them delivered to the school. You can also drop off donations at our office at 333 SE 2nd Ave in Portland, Oregon.
