Find Your Way
Help Build Oregon’s Next Great Trail
The Salmonberry Trail isn’t just a trail we’re building. It’s a shared vision for Oregon.
Stretching 82 miles from the Willamette Valley to the Oregon Coast, the Salmonberry Trail will connect communities, forests, rivers, history, and people through one extraordinary public space.
But before anyone can walk it, ride it, or explore it, we have to build it.
That’s where Wayfinders come in.
Who Are the Wayfinders?
Wayfinders are the people helping make the Salmonberry Trail a reality.
Some volunteer on trail work parties.
Some advocate for public funding.
Some support the project financially.
Some attend hikes and community events.
Some simply follow the journey and celebrate each milestone.
There isn’t one good way to be a Wayfinder.
There is only your way.
There Are Many Ways to Help Build the Trail
Every Wayfinder chooses the path that’s right for them.
Support the Trail
Help fund planning, construction, stewardship, education, and the long-term success of the Salmonberry Trail.
Volunteer

Build Community
Attend events, invite friends, introduce partners, and help grow the community that’s making the Salmonberry Trail possible.
Stay Connected

Becoming a Wayfinder isn’t signing up for another mailing list.
It’s joining a community of people who believe the Salmonberry Trail will strengthen Oregon by connecting communities, supporting local economies, improving access to nature, preserving history, and creating something future generations will enjoy.
Whether your first step is opening an email, joining a volunteer day, making a gift, or simply following the journey, you’re helping build something lasting.
The Trail Starts Here.
Every mile begins with a first step.
This could be yours.
