Looking down, you can see rusty rails filled with the history of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad.
Looking forward, you can see the green trees, dark and bright, that make the Oregon Coast unique to any other place.
Looking to the side, you can see the Nehalem River creating a picturesque view in the background of Wheeler Station.

The Boots & Roots Gala (Sold Out)
What a ride it's been this year for the Salmonberry Trail! With two new full-time staff on board, new board members, eight miles of the trail cleared in Washington County, and the wheels turning on rail salvage, we're just getting warmed up. We've reignited old friendships and sparked new partnerships, written numerous grants – including a RAISE grant application for Rockaway Beach – and the team hiked the wildest parts of the future trail. With Railstar Engineering's expertise, we have had many of our bridges inspected, and we have a plan to deck those bridges with support from our volunteers and have rallied teams covering everything from trestles to flora and fauna, not to mention kicking off our guided hikes.

Join us at Nebulous Taproom from 5:30 - 7:00 PM on March 21st to mingle with Salmonberry Trail Board Members and staff and connect with fellow volunteers. We can’t wait to see you there!
