Mike Dennis, Board Member 

Mike serves as Executive Director of Oregon Walks, a non-profit that promotes walking and advocates for safe, convenient, attractive walking conditions. Prior to Oregon Walks, Mike served as a Senior Advisor at The Nature Conservancy (TNC). In his nearly 20 years at TNC, Mike led successful efforts in Oregon and nationally to advance policies and public funding for conservation and to protect iconic places in Oregon. In his free time he has advocated for better infrastructure for walkers and cyclists. Mike has an MBA from the Haas School at the University of California Berkeley, and he received his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College, where he served on the Executive Committee of the college’s Alumni Council until 2023. He is fluent in Thai and is trying to learn to surf on the Oregon Coast.
