It Was Great To See You At Public Coast Farm!
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate each one of you who sacrificed your Saturday to help build the Salmonberry Trail. Your hands-on participation, enthusiasm, and sheer dedication toward clearing the trail were simply inspiring. It was beautiful to see so many of you working shoulder-to-shoulder for a shared cause.
Join Us On June 10th At Public Coast Farm!
We are excited to be planning a clearing event on the part of the trail that borders Public Coast Farm! And we know that you are showing up just to help get the trail built, but Ryan Snyder has offered some beverages courtesy of Public Coast — just sayin’. We are scheduled for Saturday, June 10th. Join Us On April 30 For A Trail Clearing Event With Power Tools!
Needed - We need to clear about 1.5 miles of abandoned railroad tracks covered with thorny bushes and thick overgrowth. We've been using powered hedge trimmers and line trimmers with some success. Do you have a powered trimmer or brushcutter that could trim weeds, small trees, and other foliage? Would you like to join me for a cutting event? We will start at Manning Trailhead and walk up the railroad tracks behind Hornshuh Fire Station in the Buxton area, cutting as we go. Click here if you want to join a small work party on Sunday, April 30!
We Cleared Nearly A Mile Of Track in Buxton!
It started as a cold and rainy day in Buxton — with cars passing covered in snow — and stayed that way. But more than 30 die-hard Salmonberry Trail Blazers showed up and cleared nearly a mile of trail! Thank you!
